Backpack Sampling Leads are dynamic, seasoned sampling professionals who thrive in fast-paced, high foot traffic environments. They confidently lead teams of varying experience levels to execute safe and efficient product load-in/setup, consumer sampling, and breakdown/load-out.. They ensure all sampling activations deliver a consistent, premium, and on-brand experience for consumers while supporting their staff and delivering on daily sampling volume targets. Most importantly, they are a dependable leader with a positive attitude who can handle a shifting schedule (evenings/weekends), give/receive feedback well, and show up consistently for the duration of the program.

YOUR IMPACT IN THE ROLE:

  • Execute High-Quality Sampling: Deliver efficient, fast pace product sampling while maintaining meaningful, on-brand consumer interactions.
  • Event Setup + Breakdown: Lead daily load-in and load-out, asset setup, and teardown while maintaining a clean, compliant and professional footprint.
  • Monitor Inventory: Track product and asset usage and proactively flag needs or issues to Archrival leadership.
  • Capture Consumer Insights + Sampling Results: Submit daily reports that capture consumer feedback and sampling results.
  • Lead + Manage the Team: Partner with Archrival leadership to identify high-traffic sampling locations. Own daily team schedules and on-site staffing plans while maintaining energy and morale. Proactively enforce breaks, safety protocol and best practices to prevent burnout or injury throughout each day.
  • Deliver a Positive Brand Experience: Represent the brand with professionalism, enthusiasm and approachability while supporting teammates and contributing to a strong team dynamic. 
  • Maintain Safety + Compliance: Consistently follow safety practices, sampling regulations and compliance guidelines across all events and tour activities. 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Brand + Sampling Experience: 2+ years experience leading sampling or brand activations teams, with commitment to the full program duration. 
  • Operational Readiness: Competence in product management, basic event production, and on-site safety practices. 
  • Driving Support: Clean driving record with comfort driving or operating large vehicles and handling on-site equipment. 
  • Compliance Certified: Possess (or be willing to acquire) an active TIPS or state-equivalent service certification. 
  • Coachable + Accountable: Reliable, detail-oriented and open to feedback with strong ownership of responsibilities. 
  • Exceptional Communicator: Warm, confident communicator with strong soft skills and the ability to connect with a wide range of team members and consumers.
  • Availability. Able to work evenings and weekends aligned to highest foot-traffic times. 

COMPENSATION 

Compensation range for the role is $28-31/hour based on market and experience
